Oil-insulated transformers are essential in both subscriber stations and power supply stations for photovoltaic farms. Depending on the requirements, we use various types of transformers, including dry and oil-insulated units with capacities ranging from 160 kVA to 6800 kVA.
Oil-insulated transformers use special insulating oil for cooling and insulating the windings. The oil serves a dual purpose: it electrically insulates the windings to prevent short circuits and dissipates the heat generated during operation, preventing overheating. This allows oil-insulated transformers to operate efficiently even under demanding conditions and high loads. They are commonly used in electrical transmission and distribution networks, in industrial, commercial, and professional energy applications. Their high durability and long service life make them reliable under various operational conditions, particularly where high power transfer and continuous operation are required.
Resin-insulated transformers, also known as dry-type transformers, use epoxy resin insulation. This modern solution offers high safety standards, reliability, and minimal maintenance requirements.
Resin-insulated transformers are ideal for installation in locations with elevated safety requirements, such as public buildings, hospitals, and shopping centers, due to the elimination of liquid coolants, which reduces fire risk. Their high resistance to moisture and corrosion makes them suitable for harsh environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
The ecological benefits of resin-insulated transformers include the absence of insulating liquids, which eliminates the risk of environmental contamination, making them environmentally friendly. Their almost maintenance-free operation ensures low operating costs and long service life, resulting in prolonged and trouble-free performance.
In response to market demands, we have developed our own line of medium-voltage switchgear – ELQ Air, featuring air insulation tailored specifically to the renewable energy sector.
Our switchgear is designed for long-term use in challenging operational conditions and high loads. They offer convenient access to energy measurement systems, easy maintenance, and servicing.
The modular design allows us to respond flexibly to our customers’ needs – both current and future. The compatibility of different modules and their customizable arrangement enables us to meet all our clients’ requirements. Integrating additional transformer stations, energy storage systems, measurement systems, power monitoring, and auxiliary transformers with ELQ Air switchgear is seamless.
Our switchgear has received certification from The Institute of Power Engineering in Warsaw, confirming their highest quality and readiness for use in energy networks across the country.
Low-voltage switchgear used in transformer stations are electrical devices for distributing, protecting, and controlling electrical energy up to 1 kV. They are a crucial component of transformer stations, enabling the connection of transformers to photovoltaic farms, among other applications.
We use low-voltage switchgear from reputable national and international manufacturers, adapting flexibly to the needs and preferences of our customers.
We use system cable bushings – waterproof and gas-tight – in our cable basements. Their high performance, verified by relevant certifications, and ease of installation ensure cable transitions are sealed and resistant to environmental factors, especially water and contaminants.
The wide range of bushing inserts allows for the installation of various types of cables in different cross-sectional and quantity configurations. System bushings seal transitions for medium-voltage, low-voltage, telecommunication, and fiber-optic cables.
Compact transformer station enclosures that ensure a small footprint while providing optimal placement of electrical equipment such as medium-voltage switchgear, low-voltage switchgear, and transformers. Ideal for small power stations or limited space on photovoltaic farms.
For multi-transformer stations or stations with extensive user sections (power backup systems, SCADA, CCTV), we offer multi-segment enclosures in a series layout. These allow the accommodation of numerous devices in a compact space. A shared cable basement facilitates easy configuration and future expansion.
For stations with large transformers, we offer enclosures with separate segments for medium-voltage, low-voltage, and transformers. This layout provides distinct operational zones based on operating voltages, facilitates servicing, and ensures optimal operating conditions.
For customers seeking compact large stations, we offer units in a “guarded” version, where the transformer unit is located in a separate section protected by a mesh enclosure that meets all safety standards. This solution allows for high power capacities while minimizing the installation footprint
We understand the importance of a solid foundation for transformer stations. The basements on which our stations are placed play a critical role in ensuring the stability, safety, and longevity of the entire installation.
Our basements are tailored to site-specific conditions and soil characteristics, minimizing risks of settling or cracking. Special moisture protection and thermal insulation safeguard equipment from environmental damage. We offer a wide range of customizable options to meet individual client needs, including size, depth, and additional protections.
Our basements are designed for easy installation and maintenance. The modular construction allows for quick and efficient building, and specialized water drainage and insulation systems reduce the need for complex servicing. All our basements comply with current standards and regulations, ensuring safe use and long-term operation. By choosing our foundation basements, you invest in reliability, durability, and cutting-edge technological solutions.
At ELQ, we place great importance on the solidity and safety of our installations. Foundation pads for our transformer stations are crucial for ensuring stability and durability. They form the base for each transformer station, supporting both the station itself and its equipment.
We design and produce foundation pads using the highest quality materials that meet stringent strength and durability standards. These pads are reinforced to withstand extreme weather conditions, such as strong winds, heavy rain, and variable temperatures, ensuring uninterrupted operation of the transformer station for many years.
ELQ’s foundation pads are designed with modern market requirements in mind. We use advanced technologies and innovative solutions to provide optimal technical parameters. Our foundation pads are easy to install and maintain, significantly reducing operational costs and minimizing the risk of failures. We offer various types of foundation pads adapted to specific client requirements and local conditions. Our solutions include concrete, steel, and hybrid pads that can be customized for different soil types and technical needs. Each type of foundation pad from ELQ is characterized by high-quality workmanship and reliability, ensuring long-term operation without frequent repairs or replacements.
